BUHAY DAGAT is a short film inspired with the life of the fishermen in the city of Himamaylan City Negros Occidental. Life is very difficult and life becomes tougher during the pandemic, the Covid19.
Life is like loosing hope but people's positivity about life is always on top of their list. Their families need them, so they have to fish and take home some money for the needs of the family. Other people may look down about the life of the fishermen, but we have to remember that without them, we have no blessings from the sea on our tables. We have to value their hard work, even in the most difficult moment in pandemic, they still have the chance to put smiles on their faces. Salute to all fishermen.

COURAGE IN PANDEMIC is about the story of Lolo Willie, who lives along the shade of a building in libertad market, Bacolod City. He faces a lot of challenges in life as well as the Covid19. He has a family in Kabankalan City but he chose to stay in Bacolod City and look for work. He found a job in a bicycle shop just beside where he sleeps. Life every day is a struggle until he is used to it and find ways and means for hid needs. To support himself, he assembles bikes for the customers, each penny he receives is a product of hard work and dedication. Be inspired with his story, and if you want to help him, you can just see him in Libertad market, Bacolod City, near BDO building.
Filipinos are known for being family oriented people, who loves the presence of each member of families in one roof. This short film will give you an inspiration on how families in the Philippines survived in all circumstances and how we connect faith to God to keep the family together. Even how poor life is, even how difficult life is, still the Filipino families help and inspire each other. Having a complete family is the main goal. Teaching good values to the children is the top priority.

PAGSUBOK. Filipinos are known as happy people, who loves to talk and share heart warming stories to others, easy to go with and happy to be with, until COVID19 arises. This pandemic brings a lot of challenges if the Filipino families and for the whole nation. The happy ways we had were changed into social distancing which prohibits us from gathering, this way we can help decrease the spread of the disease but creates a lot of chaos in the society. Aside from that, all of us are affected by this pandemic especially for the financial side. Many lost their jobs, people avoid each other, crimes arises due to lack of sources for food, many lost their jobs and death increases. Fear covers the life of the many. Students' life changed from classroom to online setting. It is like the survival period of human life Christmas is coming, few Filipino families decorate Christmas tree or put colorful lights, because people happiness turned into grief, anger, sadness, depressed feelings and more. We have to remember that God will not leave us, and we will surpass this challenge we face. Watch this video because it might give you hope.

Depression is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest and can interfere with your daily functions in the family and society. During the pandemic and lockdown, people lost their jobs, many businesses closed, happiness in the outside world becomes limited. For those lives spent on busy streets become empty and people covered with fear, doubt and worries about the future. I am one of those who experienced depression during the lockdown, and it was not an easy journey. When having this situation, judging should be out of the list, but support system from the families should be established. Caring and telling them how you care is one way to relieve the uncertainties of one's feeling towards the hardest situation. Ensure that God's love is there and the main source of happiness is God and the world is just secondary. Always pray for the one undergoing depression, talk to them, make them feel loved and cared.
